Protect Yourself Against the Flu!

With the coronavirus going around the world, it’s important that we protect ourselves against the flu and strengthen our immune system! The epidemic can bring a lot of fear and anxiety, however, we may have some control of it!













Here’s some ways to naturally prevent the flu:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating or touching your mouth, nose or eyes.

  • Drink A LOT of water!

  • Avoid sugar

  • Avoid processed foods

  • Avoid fried foods

  • Get enough sleep. At least 7-8 hours

  • Manage stress

  • Drink bone broth

  • Get some sun and fresh air!

  • Avoid crowded places and people who are sick

  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing

  • Drink warm tea such as green tea, lemon balm, thyme, cinnamon, ginger

  • Eat foods that strengthen the immune system such as: ginger, honey, turmeric, lemon, apple, carrots, sweet potatoes, thyme, oregano, broccoli, cinnamon, elderberry, orange, kale, garlic, cloge, mushroom, spinach and goji berries.

Find a naturopathic doctor or holistic doctor that can help prescribe professional grade, biochemically active vitamins and botanical medicine that contain antiviral and antibacterial properties. Some supplements may include vitamins A, C, D, zinc, omega-3, probiotic, and herbs can include elderberry, echinacea, astragalus, etc!
